Competitive base salary: $100,000 – $200,000 (based on experience and case volume capability)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Employment-Based Immigration Attorney to join our San Diego office. This role focuses exclusively on employment-based immigrant visa matters, including EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3 petitions.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience handling PERM labor certifications and I-140 immigrant petitions and will be comfortable managing cases from initiation through final adjudication.
This position does not involve asylum, removal defense, or humanitarian immigration matters.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage employment-based green card matters (EB-1, EB-2, EB-3)
  • Prepare and file PERM labor certification applications
  • Draft and file I-140 immigrant petitions
  • Prepare National Interest Waiver (NIW) petitions where applicable
  • Advise corporate clients on employment-based immigration strategy
  • Draft legal support letters and detailed petition briefs
  • Respond to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) and Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs)
  • Work directly with HR representatives and corporate stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with DOL and USCIS regulations
  • Track priority dates and assist with adjustment of status strategy

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active bar license in good standing (California preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in employment-based immigration law
  • Demonstrated experience handling:
    • PERM labor certifications
    • EB-1 petitions
    • EB-2 petitions (including NIW preferred)
    • EB-3 petitions
    • I-140 filings
  • Strong legal writing and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases in a deadline-driven environment
  • Experience working with corporate clients preferred
