Junior Data Engineer (Lights On Support) Role Summary We are looking for a Junior Data Engineer to support Lights On (production support) operations for data platforms and pipelines in the CarelonRx area. The role focuses on incident investigation, break-fix, data loads/inputs, operational maintenance, and supporting compliance/security activities to ensure reliable day to day operation of data services. Junior Data Engineer supporting offshore teams in running queries for offshore restricted markets and environments from onsite in PROD and UAT, the need is for the resource to be flexible to support calls in the night, early morning, or late nights
Key Responsibilities (What you ll do):
Production Support / Incident Investigation: Triage and investigate data-related incidents, identify root causes, and work with senior engineers to implement fixes.
Break fix & Maintenance: Support correction of production defects and perform ongoing maintenance work to preserve operational integrity of systems/services.
Operational Data Loads & Inputs: Execute and validate routine data loads/inputs and assist in ensuring successful processing and completion.
User/Access Support (as applicable): Assist with operational tasks such as user ID creation and access-related support where part of the service scope.
Compliance / Security Support: Participate in system audit support, testing activities, and security/vulnerability remediation tasks under guidance.
Documentation & Handoffs: Maintain runbooks/knowledge articles, document fixes, and provide clear handoffs across shifts/teams. (Best-practice suggestion; not explicitly stated in sources.)
