Job Description

Job Title: SCRUM Master / Project Manager
Location: REMOTE (however will be expected to come on site for meetings in Vienna, VA)
Pay Rate: Open to Both C2C and W2 options
Position Type: Multiyear Contract

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery commitments align with Program Increment (PI) and business objectives
• Manage the end to end delivery lifecycle for Agile initiatives, from intake through release
• Ensure backlog is well documented and prioritized with the PO
• Act as a primary point of coordination between delivery teams and business stakeholders
• Manage dependencies, risks, and remove blockers / impediments
• Facilitate all core Scrum ceremonies including Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Reviews/Demos, and Retrospectives
• Forecast delivery outcomes using estimation, velocity, and capacity planning techniques
• Identify process improvement opportunities and lead retrospection driven actions to improve flow and quality
• Shield teams from external disruptions while enabling effective collaboration
• Must have ADO Azure DevOps experience, Client experience is a plus. Finance Systems knowledge is a plus

Requirements

• Experience managing Agile projects as a Scrum Master or Project Manager
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps (ADO) tools
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to facilitate Scrum ceremonies and manage project delivery timelines
• Experience in finance systems or client environments is a plus
• Relevant certifications such as Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM) preferred
• Good understanding of Agile practices, methodology, and delivery lifecycle
