Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant to join a Corporate Accounting team. This role ensures accurate lease management, efficient cash handling, and timely financial reporting, supporting the integrity and transparency of corporate financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily cash activities, including deposits, tenant invoicing, payment applications, and bank transfers.
• Lead lease setup and verification in accounting systems, perform reconciliations and billing, and resolve tenant discrepancies.
• Maintain recurring journal entries, reconcile third-party reports, track fixed assets, and support month-end close processes and financial reporting.
• Assist with annual budget preparation, provide ad hoc financial analysis, and support acquisitions, dispositions, and other complex transactions.
• Partner with internal teams and stakeholders to optimize accounting processes, improve collections, and ensure compliance with corporate financial standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, Accounting or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of accounting experience; real estate accounting a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage complex accounting data.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills; collaborative and team-oriented approach.
