Job Description:

This is a part-time, on-site role located in Washington D.C.; for the position of Yoga Instructor at Puppy Sphere. We are looking for yoga instructors that are passionate about yoga, love puppies, and have a warm, bubbly personality. You will lead beginner-friendly yoga classes while ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for both attendees and puppies! As Yoga Instructor, you will be responsible for 4 yoga classes of 45 minutes each, throughout one day.

 

This is a contract, on-site role in Washington D.C. and weekend availability is a necessity.
Our 45 minute sessions are $45/session (Weekends)

 

Yoga Instructor Responsibilities:

• Lead and instruct beginner yoga flow classes with an emphasis on relaxation and enjoyment.
• Be mindful and patient that puppies will be present during practice and attendees will have divided attention to the yoga practice and puppies.
• Create a welcoming and positive atmosphere for all attendees.
• Provide modifications and adjustments to accommodate different skill levels.
• Collaborate with the Puppy Sphere team members to maintain a clean and organized space.

Yoga Instructor Requirements:

• Candidate must be available on Saturdays or Sundays for scheduling (1 day per weekend).
• Additional weekday availability is a huge plus.
• Candidate must be available to teach x4 sessions per scheduled day.
• Certified Yoga Instructor (RYT 200 or equivalent).
• Experience teaching beginner yoga classes preferred.
• Genuine love for animals, particularly puppies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to create a friendly, inclusive, and supportive environment.
• Patience and adaptability to handle the playful nature of puppies during classes.
