Forklift Operator – Memphis, TN

Pay: $19.00/hour
Schedule: 3rd shift, 8:00 PM-4:30 AM Sunday to Thursday OT available

Job Description

Abacus Staffing Services is hiring experienced Forklift Operators to support a large national distribution account in Memphis, TN . This role is ideal for dependable operators with experience in high-volume warehouse environments who are comfortable operating various types of industrial lift equipment.

Equipment Operated

Sit-Down Forklift
Stand-Up / Stand-Up Reach
Reach Truck
Clamp Forklift

(Assignment and equipment may vary by department and shift.)

Responsibilities

Safely operate forklift equipment to move, stage, and load materials
Pick, put away, and replenish product in racking locations
Load and unload trailers as needed
Verify product and quantities using RF scanners or paperwork
Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety guidelines
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Perform daily equipment inspections

Qualifications

Minimum 6 months of recent forklift experience (preferred)
Experience on one or more listed equipment types
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
Strong attention to safety and detail
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Must be able to operate the cherry/order picker and Reach Truck
