Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced property accountant who can jump in and take over working within a real estate company that focuses on multifamlily with 90% of their business being commercial accounts. There is limited availblity and time to train. This is an onsite role not far from Baxter Village.

salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Full-Cycle Accounting: Maintain general ledgers for multiple commercial entities using QuickBooks, including AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
• CAM Reconciliations: Perform annual Common Area Maintenance (CAM), real estate tax,and insurance reconciliations for commercial tenants.
• Lease Administration: Abstract leases to ensure accurate billing of base rent, percentage, rent, and escalations.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement packages (Balance Sheets, P&L, Cash Flow) for ownership and lenders.
• Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of annual operating budgets and provide variance analysis of actual vs. budgeted performance.
• Vendor Management: Review and process vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding and timely payments.
• Audit & Tax Support: Coordinate with external CPAs for year-end tax preparation and any required audits.
