Part-Time Marketing Assistant

Mane Impact is a marketing firm based in Nashville, TN. We partner with values-driven businesses on their branding, website development, and marketing strategy to move their audiences from awareness to action. Purpose and impact are in our DNA, and we’re looking for a purpose-driven marketing assistant to join our team part-time. This role is a freelancer position (1099 contract only).

Overview, Duties, & Responsibilities

The Marketing Assistant should be a highly organized self-starter with the ability to develop, implement, and monitor marketing campaigns for Mane Impact and its clients. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, share our core values, and be willing to learn and grow. This position directly reports to the Founder and may interface with others as needed.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Attend in-person events with the Founder and represent Mane Impact.
• Utilize various marketing tools to research, test, and analyze campaigns to identify growth opportunities and better reach identified audiences.
• Enhance and increase lead generation through the execution of various marketing campaigns, such as email, social media, digital campaigns, and events.
• Create reports and analyze data of essential metrics, KPIs, and areas of improvement.
• Assist with the creation of written content for new campaigns, social media, etc.
• Manage personal workload to prioritize deadlines and requests of multiple clients simultaneously while managing marketing and administrative tasks like asset organization.

Preferred Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of related experience.
• Fluency with various industry tools such as CRMs, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, LinkedIn, Asana, etc.
• Excellent marketing and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency.
• Evolving knowledge of marketing, research, and data analytics trends and best practices.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Design skills and knowledge of design tools like Canva, Adobe, and Sigma are a plus.
• Exposure to HTML, CSS, and basic web design is a plus.

Hours & Schedule

• Scheduling is flexible, but the candidate should be available during Mane Impact’s working hours (Monday to Friday between 9 am and 5 pm CST).
• 10-20 hours per week.
• Weekly standup meeting (to be set during onboarding).
• Additional meetings may be set as time goes on in accordance with client needs.
• Hourly rate: $20 - $30 (commensurate with experience).
